Flowers:
Up to 6 mm across; five non-overlapping, round to ovate petals and a reddish, bell-shaped calyx divided to less than half its length into five rounded lobes. At the centre are eight short, greenish-yellow stamens and two carpels. Flowers are produced singly or in small, open groups
Leaves:
Stalked, fleshy, divided into between two and five lobes (entire towards the top of the stem), covered by sticky, glandular hairs, as are the (reddish) stems, calyces and pedicels
