Flowers:
Up to 25 mm long; a tubular, long-spurred, pale yellow corolla opening to two upwards-pointing lobes at the top, and three overlapping lobes below, with a raised, hairy, orange patch in the middle. Sepals are narrow, green and pointed. Flowers form a dense, slightly elongated cluster at the top of the leafy stem
Leaves:
Narrow, linear to lanceolate, up to 8 cm long, closely-spaced, whorled near the base becoming alternate higher up the stem
