Flowers:
Up to 15 mm in diameter; six narrow yellow petals and six stamens, almost the same length. Stamens are formed of a yellow filament sheathed in yellow hairs, and an orange-red anther. Flowers are produced as an elongated cluster and attached by stalks of up to 2 cm, bearing a few narrow bracts
Leaves:
Basal leaves are hairless, narrow, linear, slightly curved, up to 20 cm long, angled upwards. There are also a few short stem leaves
