Flowers:
Three broad white petals, yellow at the base and crinkly in texture, and three smaller green sepals. Flowers are either pistillate, and solitary, on bractless stalks of up to 8 cm, or staminate, in groups of two or three, partly enclosed by a pair of bracts (the spathe)
Leaves:
Round to cordate, up to 3 cm across, attached by long stalks. The whole plant is floating, not rooted
