White to dull purple; five deeply notched petals each with five pinnate veins, and five sparsely hairy sepals, lacking bristles at the tips. Flowers form in pairs, attached by long, slender pedicels, covered by very short hairs
Leaves:
Long-stalked, round in outline, up to 8 cm across, divided about half way into five or seven segments, with shallow marginal lobes
