In elongated clusters of up to nine heads, along a hairy stalk, square in cross-section. Flowers are white to pale lilac in colour, around 5 mm long, with a hairy, five-lobed calyx in which the lobes are approximately equal in length, and longer than the calyx tube

Short, downy pods, usually containing two seeds
Leaves:
Pinnately divided into between four and ten oblong, blunt-tipped leaflets, with a tendril at the tip
