Flowers:
Pure white, or creamy white, angled upwards, becoming reddish brown as they wither, and angled downwards - in rounded clusters, 2 cm across, attached by relatively long stalks, up to 20 cm. Calyces are greenish-white, often reddish around the upper margin, and divided into narrow teeth, somewhat darker green
Leaves:
Hairless, trifoliate; leaflets are lined by tiny teeth, and crossed by parallel, translucent, pinnate veins. Leaflets usually have a faint white mark at the centre
