Flowers:
Five white petals, divided almost to the base, alternating with five green sepals, hairy underneath, and slightly longer. At the centre are ten purple-tipped stamens. Flowers are about 12 mm in diameter
Leaves:
Opposite, ovate, stalked towards the base becoming sessile higher up, on round stems which have a single row of hairs, alternating in position between adjacent leaf nodes
