Five obovate petals, very shallowly notched at the tip, coloured pinkish-purple, white at the base, and crossed by bluish lengthwise veins. The five spreading sepals are about twice as long as the petals, dark green and hairy, especially towards the (fused) base

Grass-like; narrowly lanceolate, and sparsely hairy
